As part of the Centenary celebrations of the Lake Coleridge Hydro Power Project, a re-enactment of the 'Coleridge Run' was staged by a large number of engines and enginemen. What a great day, fascinating onlookers, well-wishers and the support crews who followed the run; evoking many memories for those have worked at Lake Coleridge over the years and for the traction engine crews who partook in the commemorative run. This will be remembered for years.
The Coleridge Run is very much part of the Truman Jones story and in large part responsible for the development of the folklore surround this character, as it became more widely known through the wonderful Ballad of the Coleridge Run, written by Joe Charles and sung by Les Cleveland.
